No doubt you would have heard the screams emanating from 207 The Parade today....

Had no access to my emails (historic) – and with a dinner for 1200 people on Friday night, not the most convenient time for this to happen.

The Norwood staff fielded my very many distress calls with good humour and grace.

A team member came down to see what I was blabbering about, and put me onto the Proffesional Team.

They were in on the front line of fire, but came and made sure it all came together and finally at about 4.30pm today – everything returned!

As always though, the Mac Centre Norwood and the Power On Team were just wonderful.

I am totally rapt with the huge improvement of my productivity following the split between Matlab on my Macbook, and CS5 and Final Cut Pro X, on my new mini.  All the while without losing access to all this great software plus ImageMagick and Perl for automated image sequence processing on both my Macbook and mini.  (Well almost all -- the only s/w that only runs on my 'book is Matlab). It's the best value IT investment I've ever made -- big time. 

Who'd a known that I could run 8 cores on 12 GB of RAM under the control of two keyboards for such an affordable price ! 

The parallelism benefits are huge !
