- Type of Mac and date of purchase - e.g. iMac 21.5", March17th, 2010.
- Processor Speed & type - e.g. 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
- Machine Serial Number - e.g. X802230EVGP
- Which Mac OS version it is running - e.g. Mac OS X Version 10.6.5
All of these details (except for date of purchase and year), can be found by going under the Apple (icon) Menu > About This Mac. In the window you will see the OS X Version, the processor type and the RAM memory. If you then click on the "More Info" button, you will launch "System Profiler" - in this window (with "Hardware" highlighted on the left-hand column) you will see the Hardware Overview, which includes the Serial Number (second from bottom). Please also include your name and contact details.
